Tour Overview

A program will start in the morning at 8:30 am. You will be picked from your hotel to Fumba village where you will meet your special boat for a guided Safari Blue tour.

Safari Blue tour in Zanzibar is a full-day tour that starts and ends at your hotel. A unique and exclusive experience with your own traditional dhow and crew, touring the beautiful waters & islands around Zanzibar. Bespoke activities, private seafood BBQ, all the trimmings, perfect for the bucket list special occasion.

Safari Blue trip in Zanzibar is one among the best sea adventures on the Zanzibar island, not only sailing along with the traditional dhow but also you can have snorkeling, swim, and relaxing on a white sandy beach on a sandbank.

In addition to all, there is plenty of seafood who are all waiting for you to be tasted. The dhow departs from Fumba beach at 09:30 am and we get back around 04:30 pm. With your Safari Blue guide, you will explore the mangrove lagoon hidden inside the Kwale Island.

Between the snorkeling times, you can stay on the boats and taste fresh seasonal fruits and end your trip with some fresh grilled seafood BBQ.

08:30 AM - Hotel Pickup

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to Fumba village, the departure point for your Safari Blue adventure.

09:30 AM - Dhow Departure

Arrive at Fumba beach, meet your captain and crew. Board a traditional wooden dhow and set sail into the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

10:00 AM - Snorkeling at Reef Sites

Experience world-class snorkeling at pristine reef sites. Swim among colorful coral gardens and encounter diverse tropical fish. Your guide will point out marine life and ensure your safety.

11:30 AM - Sandbank Relaxation

Stop at a stunning sandbank that emerges during low tide. Relax on white powder sand, swim in crystal clear waters, and enjoy fresh tropical fruits (pineapple, banana, watermelon, mango, coconut).

12:30 PM - Seafood BBQ Lunch

Indulge in a delicious seafood BBQ lunch onboard. Feast on freshly grilled prawns, lobster, octopus, calamari, tuna fish, and French fries. Beverages include water and soda.

02:00 PM - Kwale Island Exploration

Visit Kwale Island for a walking safari. Explore the mangrove lagoon, nature trail, and see a large baobab tree over 100 years old. Learn about local flora and fauna from your guide.

03:30 PM - Final Snorkel & Return

One last snorkeling opportunity at another spectacular spot before beginning the journey back to Fumba beach.

04:30 PM - Return to Hotel

Arrive back at Fumba beach and transfer to your hotel, concluding your unforgettable Safari Blue experience.
